Cradle to Calling: Raising Children With Purpose

Cradle to Calling: Raising Children With Purpose

Parenting

Cradle to Calling: Raising Children With Purpose Cradle to Calling is a practical, engaging parenting class designed to help parents move beyond simply raising children to intentionally preparing them for life, leadership, and purpose. This course is built around the P3 Parenting Framework: Provide, Partner, and Pillar. These three principles give parents a simple, memorable framework for understanding their role at each stage of their child’s development and creating a healthy foundation for their child’s future. Who Is This Class For? This class is designed for parents, grandparents, guardians, foster parents, and anyone who plays a significant role in raising or mentoring children. It is especially helpful for parents who want to: * Build a stronger relationship and connection with their children * Understand their child’s emotional, social, and developmental needs * Establish healthy boundaries without damaging connection * Become more intentional about the example they are setting * Help their children develop confidence, character, responsibility, and resilience * Prepare their children not only for adulthood, but for a life of purpose * Navigate the transition from directing their children to eventually partnering with them as they mature No previous parenting education or experience is required. What Will We Explore? Over the course of four live sessions, we will explore four essential stages of intentional parenting. 1. PROVIDE — Creating the Foundation Parents are called to provide more than food, clothing, and shelter. Children need security, consistency, affirmation, boundaries, guidance, and an environment where they know they are loved. Students will learn how to create a foundation that helps children develop a healthy sense of identity, security, and belonging. 2. PARTNER — Learning to Walk With Your Child As children grow, parenting must grow with them. What worked when a child was five may not work when they are fifteen. Students will learn how to move from simply directing their children to developing a relationship where they can listen, communicate, coach, encourage, and walk alongside them. We will explore age-appropriate independence, healthy communication, conflict resolution, and maintaining connection as children mature. 3. PILLAR — Becoming Someone Your Child Can Build Upon Children learn as much from who we are as they do from what we say. Students will examine the importance of modeling character, integrity, responsibility, faith, healthy relationships, and emotional maturity. We will discuss how parents can become a stable and trustworthy presence in their child’s life while also recognizing that nobody parents perfectly. 4. CALLING — Preparing Children for Purpose The ultimate goal isn’t simply to raise children who can survive adulthood. It’s to help them discover who they are, recognize their gifts, develop responsibility, and understand that their lives have purpose. Students will learn practical ways to recognize their child’s strengths, encourage their interests, develop responsibility, and begin meaningful conversations about identity, purpose, gifts, dreams, and calling. What Will Students Learn? By the end of this class, students should be able to: * Understand the difference between parenting for compliance and parenting for maturity * Apply the P3 framework of Provide, Partner, and Pillar to their own parenting * Identify ways they can strengthen their child’s sense of security and identity * Communicate more effectively with their children * Establish healthy boundaries while maintaining connection * Recognize how their own behavior and choices influence their children * Encourage responsibility and age-appropriate independence * Identify and nurture their child’s strengths, gifts, and interests * Have more meaningful conversations with their children about purpose and the future * Develop practical strategies they can immediately implement at home What Makes This Class Different? Cradle to Calling isn’t about becoming a perfect parent. It’s about becoming an intentional parent. Every family is different, every child is different, and parenting doesn’t come with a one-size-fits-all instruction manual. This class gives parents a framework they can adapt to their unique family while providing practical tools they can begin using immediately. Students won’t simply listen to information. They will be encouraged to reflect, participate, ask questions, and apply what they are learning to their own families. The goal is simple: Don’t just raise your child. Prepare them for their calling. By the end of Cradle to Calling, parents will have a clearer understanding of their role, a practical framework for intentional parenting, and actionable steps for helping their children grow from dependence toward maturity, identity, responsibility, and purpose.

Parenting From the Inside Out

Parenting From the Inside Out

Parenting

🌊 Parenting From the Inside Out Section One: Nervous System First — Regulation Before Reaction Parenting does not begin with discipline strategies. It begins with the nervous system. In this foundational module of the Parenting From the Inside Out series, parents learn to recognize behavior as nervous system communication rather than moral failure. Instead of asking, “How do I fix this behavior?” we begin with a more powerful question: What state is my child in? What state am I in? Grounded in the developmental arc of the Human Evolution Continuum™ , this class focuses on the movement from fragmentation to awareness. You will learn why dysregulation escalates households, why logic fails in heightened states, and how to interrupt reactive cycles before they cause relational rupture. This is not about scripts. It is about embodied skill. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN How to identify your own stress patterns in real time How to recognize your child’s nervous system states Why correction fails when regulation is absent A practical pause practice to reduce escalation How to regulate before you respond WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT Most parenting programs focus on behavior modification. This course begins underneath behavior — at the level of physiology. When the nervous system shifts, everything shifts. You will leave with: A clearer understanding of why your household escalates A repeatable regulation framework Greater confidence in your leadership Less shame and more clarity WHO IS THIS FOR? Parents who feel reactive and want to respond differently Neurodivergent parents raising neurodivergent children Parents who understand that connection precedes correction Families stuck in escalation cycles The Outcome By the end of this session, you will understand: Behavior is regulation strategy. Regulation is leadership. Leadership begins within. This is the first step toward embodied parenting.
